Curly Maple Table

Simple. Light. Stable.

Even though the design possibilities in furniture are increasing every day with new techniques and tools, a piece resulting from a drive towards a clean and minimal, yet strong, solution will always remain successful and enduring.

No Hardware. Simple and Versatile Treatments.

Because of the natural movement of wood, tables often requires hardware to allow for those subtle changes. This table has none, simply the wood and glue, with a polyurethane coating to protect the natural maple color and grain.

Stretchers and Through Tenons. No Hardware and No Rails.

Rails add visual weight to tables. To lighten the look of this table, and allow for the legs to attach directly into the top, stretchers were used and joined as through tenons to the legs. This also stabilizes the table, and allows for wood movement.
